Lion's Mane "Pulled Pork" Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 400F

  2. Shred/peel apart Lion's Mane into 2 to 4-inch strips resembling pulled pork, spread onto parchment paper-lined baking sheet

  3. Drizzle Lion's Mane with 1 Tbsp of oil, 1 tsp paprika, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp cayenne, and two cloves of minced garlic.

  4. Toss around to evenly coat the mushrooms.

  5. Bake for 20 minutes, or until mushrooms are a bit crispy and brown on the edges.

  6. Heat 1 Tbsp of oil in a large saute pan over medium high heat. Transfer cooked mushrooms to pan and add 1/4th cup of BBQ sauce. Stir and cook for 3 to 5 minutes, until mixture is thick and fragrant.

  7. Serve warm on sandwiches, nachos, salads, tacos…or however you like to normally eat pulled pork.
